In the luxury market for more than seven years, designer Paula Torres, adds a thorough investigation of feminine movement to the sophistication and elegance of to her eponymous label. The shoemaker translates a contemporary proposal in her products, always with her own style and personality. The handmade pieces have an impeccable finish and unique design.
Careful preparation starts with the creation process in her studio, through to the final product, being the main characteristic of the brand's handmade work. The shoes are produced with high quality raw materials and state-of-the-art technology. The pieces are finished with gemstones, pearls and glitter. Laser cutting and innovative designs are applied to the international standard modeling of the label's various options, ranging from slippers to heeled sandals. Luxury permeates all the pieces.
Within the two annual collections, special lines in limited editions offer differentiated and singular pieces, always arousing desire among consumers.
Paula Torres Profile
Passionate about shoes, it was always obvious what this designer from Minas Gerais would achieve. From the time she studied law in Rio de Janeiro, Paula made it clear that her future was not in the law. She wanted more: to explore her creativity and passion for fashion. The first opportunity arose at university when Paula, along with a friend, opened a multi-brand shoe store in Ipanema. Responsible for curating the models that would be sold in the store, she discovered that her true passion was product development.
Curious and always eager to learn more, she soon went solo following a trip to the best shoe factories in Brazil.
Before starting her own brand in 2010, she developed products for well-known Rio brands. Two years later she started the brand bearing her own name in which perfectionism, care and passion are an integral part of each stage of construction, from creation to final product.
In the beginning, the shoemaker was also developing collections for other brands. He big break came in 2012, with the opening of her store in the JK Iguatemi mall, in São Paulo.
With the growing success of her collections, the designer began to work full time on her brand, working with other labels only in collabs.
Dedication and focus, coupled with good taste and marketing strategies, have confounded Brazil's tough times and made Paula Torres one of the most recognized luxury brands, with five physical stores and an e-commerce channel of its own.
Paula's determination continues. Her goal is to open another store in the near future.
